Duty Imperative

The concept of duty is an imperative in the U.S. military, yet rarely mentioned in a non-military arena. However, as a citizen of a free Republic, we possess one inalienable duty and that is to vote. It matters not if the race is already decided according to the polls or if doing so is inconvenient on election day, it must be “the” priority for the day. We must remember that even if our choice candidate were to lose, the final count as value in the follow on analysis.
