The Congressional Dilemma - What is right (for the country) and what is safe (for reelection

It is so evident that many of our Congressional leaders are weak and cowardly. Fearful to act without the surety of constituent concurrence, they procrastinate, waiting for the outcome of the next poll.  The choice between what is right (for the country) and what is safe (for reelection) is a sign of real leadership or weak-kneed showmanship.
