Presently, I have great concern for our representative democracy. Honor and statesmanship have escaped the criteria for holding public office. America has taken too many left turns and the elite media tell the population what to think. Self-centered partisanship (read, reelection at any cost) has made it impossible to solve national problems such as immigration, healthcare, welfare overload and abuse, and education. Even religious freedom and freedom of speech are under assault. Who even believes that our elections are even legally admnistered. Moreover, we can no longer win a war (even with over-whelving military power) due to political correctness, political polarization, fear of civilian casualties (even though they are our enemies and hate us), and worry over collateral damage. There is another paragraph in my journal, but I best leave it in the journal.
