Micromanaging has a Bad Name

I confess to being a micromanager —— in areas where I have an intense interest such as those that are critical to revenue production, when I am losing confidence in a subordinate leader, and when I sense that I am losing my situational awareness. In the case of the latter two, a subordinate leader has much to be concerned about.
