I have been away from the blog for awhile, but will throw out some things that I have collected and will add to my Journal soon.

• It seems to me that we have become a nation that elects candidates based on Ideas, oratory, and debating skills.  Whatever happened to leadership, character, and the demonstrated ability to get things done?  One thing is sure - winning debates and getting elected to public office is not demonstrative of leadership, courage, and the force of will necessary to get things done in a free republic.  My distain for politics and the self-serving, sycophant, mostly disingenuous elected members of congress (small case intentional) that purportedly represent me give me reflux.
