Ill-Gained Profit

I truly believe that a man’s word is his bond; it embodies his character. I endeavor to be truthful in motive and deed, to always do what I say I will do, to never make a promise that I do not keep, to pay all of my taxes and debts on time, and to resist the friendship of those who live by another code. I learned long ago that ill-gained wealth never earns a profit.
