August Musings (Revisited)
I discovered some notes and quotes that I overlooked and should have been published earlier:

“The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” Proverbs 20:11
“For the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him.” Proverbs 20:17
(Comment: I find it remarkable these days the number of people who have no fear of the one Being who controls the consequences of this life and the hereafter.)

One whose sole ambition is to lead or command (without the right kit bag) is like the lemming (Arctic rodent) that continues to migrate to the sea and drowns. Benson
