Our tax dollars are often used to feather the beds of congressional incumbents. Even good men and women once elected, for want of position, power, influence and the incredible appurtenances associated with public office refuse to walk point to even balance the federal budget.

Our only recourse is to vote them out of office, but I doubt that it is even possible because of the monetary support they receive from their party, the corruption that rules Washington, and private entities.

More and more we are learning that corruption is America parallels that in the worst countries of the third world, only ours is more sophisticated.
