Thought for the Day

I am a bit of a student of King Solomon for I have used his quotes from the Books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes profusely in my new book, Executive Courage....  Here is one:

"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap."  Ecclesiastes 11:5

I use this quote to describe the hesitators, naysayers, procrastinators and any who fear change at home or in the workplace.  There is little more frustrating than a boss who will not decide, will not act, will not close.  My counsel is, "Do not fret about the 'what ifs', the 'maybes', or the 'uncertainties'; start where you are and as soon as you can."
