Passion is not a short-term stimulant.  The leader’s passion; similar to determination, is transferable to the led.  It is often observed as emotion, which is an easy to observe element of passion.  It is most recognizable in the military and in athletics.  I used to see it in the late, great University of Tennessee coach, Ray Bussand.  In the recent NCAA basketball playoffs I saw it clearly once more as Auburn coach Bruce Pearl’s passion was transferred to his players.
