Fear to act

There are those who seem to move rapidly and confidently in an environment that is physically and professionally dangerous or where one’s reputation for competence is at risk. These leaders possess the capacity to quickly assess the situation, synthesize the available information, compose rational courses of action, decide, implement, move on, and never look back.

And then there are those in key leadership positions who freeze and cannot act — Benghazi comes to mind!
