Conformity and the Status Quo

I have ranted about the need for change and the dangers of the status quo, conformity, and group think so vehemently that I expect considerable push back from some groups upon the publishing of my new book - "Executive Courage - Sometimes You Have to Walk Point".

As always, after completing a blog post or a book, I come across a thought or someone else's prose that better states my case.  Recently, I read, "Defying Normal - Soaring Above the Status Quo."  He are my takes from author Reverend Skip Heitzig.

Skip is a great pastor/author who dared to say that, "he is not religious."  Skip reminds his readers that Jesus butted heads with the established religion and their customs and sacriments.  According to Skip, religion is about one's outside behavior, while faith in Jesus Christ changes us from the inside out.

I commend "Defying Normal..." as Skip denounces conformity and stasis in a very different way.
