Action and Words

Today's Myrtle Beach "Sun Times" carried a piece describing how an individual leaped from a balcony to apprehend a shooter who was fleeing the scene.  The young man broke his ankle in the leap and the shooter escaped.  Nonetheless, this individual's actions  reminded me of an anonymous quote that I should have included in my new book, Executive Courage.... The quote goes, "Silence in the face of evil is evil itself.  Not to speak is to speak, not to act is to act."

This young man's actions spoke volumns.
