A Society of Sheep and the Human Will

3/3/2016

"A Society of sheep must in time beget a government of wolves."  Bertand de Jouvenal

I appreciate James Allen's poem about the force of will:

The human WILL that force unseen,
The offspring of a deathless sow,
Can hew a way to any goal,
Though walls of granite intervene.

Be not impatient in delays,
But wait as one who understands,
When the spirit rises and commands,
The Gods are ready to obey.

I am a believer in the power of personal will, but patience has never been my friend.
